Terms of Service

Plain English, because you should not need a lawyer to understand what you are signing up for. This covers your free website and any add-on modules you choose to turn on.

The short version

• Your website is genuinely free and yours. Your domain, your code, your content.
• There is no long-term contract. Paid add-ons are month to month, renew automatically each month until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime.
• When you turn a paid module on, you commit to one billing cycle. When you turn one off, it keeps running until the end of the cycle you already paid for, then stops.
• We only ever switch on what you ask for. Nothing turns on by itself.

1. Who you are dealing with

KILLSWITCH is a service of LIMEN Helix LLC ("KILLSWITCH", "we", "us"). By using our website, signing up for a build, or turning on a paid module, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your business ("you").

2. Your free website

We build you a website at no charge and hand you the keys. The site, its code, its content, and the domain are yours to keep, whether or not you ever buy an add-on. There is no obligation to purchase anything.

3. Your domain

To get you online fast, we will register and manage your domain for you, or set it up using the business information you give us. Either way, the domain belongs to you. On your request, we will transfer the domain registration into an account in your name, and we will hand over or transfer the site to your own hosting. While we host and manage the site, it may live on our hosting infrastructure. If you cancel, we will help move the domain and site to you.

Any third-party registration or renewal fee for a domain is included in your setup unless we tell you otherwise in writing before we buy it.

4. Add-on modules and pricing

Beyond the free site, you can turn on optional modules (for example getting found on Google, online booking, payments, or a 24/7 AI assistant). Current prices are shown on our pricing page. Each module can be run as a monthly subscription or, where offered, bought one time to own outright. Larger custom work is quoted separately before any work begins.

5. Billing, automatic renewal, and changing modules

Automatic renewal notice. Paid modules are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Each paid module you turn on renews automatically every month, and your payment method is charged the then-current price at the start of each billing cycle, until you cancel. By turning on a paid module, you authorize these recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

How to cancel. You can cancel any module or your whole account at any time by turning it off in your panel or by emailing limenhelix@proton.me. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The module keeps working until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, then switches off. We do not pro-rate or refund a partial cycle.

• Turning a module on starts your billing for it and commits you to at least one full billing cycle. We will email you to confirm the change, and once you confirm, that module is locked on for the current cycle.
• Turning a module off stops the next renewal, effective at the end of your current paid cycle.
• To prevent mistakes, a change is only final once you confirm it by email, and a confirmed change cannot be reversed until the current billing cycle ends.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel any paid module or the whole account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for through that date. Your free website remains yours.

7. Hosting, changes, and support

If you are on a plan that includes hosting and maintenance, we keep your site online, backed up, and secure, and we make small changes you request, usually within a day or two. Larger changes or new features may be scoped and quoted separately.

8. What we need from you

To build and run your site we need accurate business information, content, and any access we reasonably need (for example to your Google Business Profile). You confirm you have the right to use any logos, photos, or text you give us, and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, and not to resell or misrepresent them. We can suspend service for serious or repeated violations.

10. No guarantees, and limits on liability

We build good websites and tools, but we cannot and do not guarantee specific business results, search rankings, sales, or leads. Our services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, LIMEN Helix LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the service means you accept the update.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there.
